BYU v Boise State

Dash asked for tickets to the BYU v Boise State game for his birthday this year.  It just so happened to be a ridiculously hard game to buy tickets for, but because we love Dash (and maybe we wanted to go to the game too), we spent a small fortune and got tickets for the whole family to go to the game the beginning of September.  And because Dan and Jill also love BYU, they got some tickets for Boe's birthday as well.  Oh and they love Boe too...

The weather was gorgeous and the game was an exciting hail-Mary win for BYU!
Tag crashed in the first quarter, took a little cat nap and then was back in action in time to cheer the Cougs on in their win.

The crew.  (Jill was in NYC with family.  Almost as exciting.)

After the game, we wandered down onto the field with all the cool college students.  The boys saw a football player and very casually backed up next to him for a picture.

Stay-at-Home-(with)-Mom

While the boys and Dad are off at school, Sport, Sis, Tag and I find lots to do at home, both homes actually.  In addition to our neighborhood home school preschool, we go to the park and the library and back and forth to the new house running errands.  Sport likes to gather the pussy willow heads out of the borrow pit at the new house and shred them all over the van.

One afternoon while Sport and Sis were jumping on the trampoline, they attempted to pacify Tag, who was watching from the porch, with a pussy willow.  It worked.

Tag covered in pussy willow fur.  And I think he only ate about half of it.

Any time I get the camera out, all the kids want to be in a picture.

I do mean everyone.

Brandan's Birthday!

Because Brandan's birthday was on Labor Day this year, he had the day off of school, which gave him plenty of time to...work on the house.  Happy Birthday!

Even if he had to work on his birthday, the kids wanted their Dad to have a special day.  So Dash googled how to make a pinata and they put together this little number seen above.  And I got to scrub crusty flour paste off the porch over the next month.  Win, win.

1st Day of School 2015

Colt on the first day of school.

Dash on the first day of school.

Brandan goes to school quite early, but both boys were up and dressed before he left.  Sissy was also up for the day, though not dressed.  Here they all are ready for a big year!

The bus stop.

Everyone was up and dressed to meet the boys at the bus stop after school!

Random photos from the end of August

One day Colt wrote Tag's name across his forehead.  I guess he thought we couldn't remember his name, which isn't true.  I know his name, it just takes me a while to get to it - DashColtSportTAG!

All the boys posed for a group photo.
