Fathers Day, Moving, Summer Fun, Family, Birthdays and Other Misc Adventures, Part 2

Just five days after our move to Mountain View, we loaded up and headed to visit family in Idaho.

We spent the 4th of July with the Madsens.
Playing on the swing set at the Torgersons while waiting for the fireworks to start.

Nothing more American than playing catch in the backyard.

Then it was time for the David Clayson Family Reunion.
After sleeping in a tent on Friday night, Brent had a slow start Saturday.

A Minute to Win It games.  Colt played this game like a boss.  After he twirled all his toilet paper off his roll, he spun over to his seat and his eyes were still swirling when he breathlessly asked, "Did I win?" And he had!

Ping pong toss

Junk in the trunk.  David beat our jiggly little bottoms.

The Blue team and one of the game officials (Breeze).

The Brown team.

Go Black team! (and Dash!...and Shann, just to be fair)

I can't remember what this one was called, but it was entertaining to watch.

A friendly game of War.

Brandan had to leave Sunday morning to head over to Greeley, CO for school (nightmare!), but the kids and I stayed in Idaho for a couple more days.
Colt and Hannah on the Slip n' Slide at the Claysons.

Dash and Drewby warming up on the pavement.

Grandpa gave Sis an apple and she made quick work of it.

When you play that hard it really doesn't matter what you sleep on...just ask Colt.

Cam and I got to spend an afternoon with our besties, the Jacobsen gals.  When we all get together there are 13 kids (under the age of 10) and just four adults.  And yes, I'm being shot out while taking this picture.

An afternoon at the park with the Madsens.
Sissy in the stroller.

Dash and Colt pushing Maddie in the swing.

Cambree and Breeze.

Dash and Colt on the Merry-Go-Round.

Grandma Madsen and Sport.

The kids and I caravanned to American Fork, UT with some of the family to meet the newest cousin, little baby Miles Clayson, and then we headed home from there.
Cousins!

Breeze was pretty exhausted from all our vacationing.  You can't tell it very well, but she is sitting up with her little face mashed into the net of her crib....and dead asleep.

Sissy started really crawling at 8 months to the day.  Truthfully though, she still has a little hitch in her crawl to this day.  She likes to keep one knee turned out and scoot along on her foot.  Uncle Dan, the wrestling coach, claims she is staying prepared to sit out quickly.  She might need those moves in this house.
Sis went straight from crawling to standing in a matter of...well, hours really.
